Hélène, Ferenc, Sandros, Katrine (and me)
rainy sunday lunch, the sky's much too gray
flowers offered, rare orchids from the sea
surprise on their faces, that made my day

champagne cocktails, shrimp and mango at first
Hélène, Ferenc, Sandros, Katrine (and me)
I stuffed myself 'til I thought I would burst
dear friends, will you please share this recipe?

more compliments to the chef, our decree
for next: a chicken potato soufflé
Hélène, Ferenc, Sandros, Katrine (and me)
ate like kings and queens on a holiday

my friends, all well sheltered from falling rain
strawberry desert, together in glee
joyous laughter took away my heart's pain
Hélène, Ferenc, Sandros, Katrine (and me)
