EVERLASTING LIGHT
I’ll send a flower to my Mother as I did in childhood days and although she now rests on a cloud, with God’s help I’ll find a way. The sun is warm where her soul resides and all of the days are bright. After all these years I still ask of her to help me do what is right. I talk to her almost everyday, can imagine how she’ll feel when she gets a rose on Mother’s day, sure to make it a big deal. At the next first sight of my Mom’s face, she will smile if I’ve done right, found my way to the proper place to bask in everlasting light. 5/2/06 Monty Written in 9-7 syllable line count.
