Lines of metaphors of death.

Anticipating the sempiternal obscurity,
the raven's ebony eye ordained,
fluttering on the caliginous wing.
The cavernous sable sleep
in the image of jet.
A summon beckons,
the firmament is breached.
The metamorphosis awaits.
All is hushed as one is gone.
