Fallen Within Our Tears
A poem for friends of ours.

They were warriors,

fighting for one cause.

Shrouded in the flag

of a free society-

Free to protest

at these mens' funerals.



Wives are widows.

Children who will

never know their

fathers-

Men who gave life,

are dead.

For peace.



Nobody will ever know

how so alone

our children feel.
