My Faithful Companion

Writing-dot-com is with me for breakfast.
I eat my cereal as I review,
Look up the contests while I drink my coffee.
Oh that one’s different! There, that one’s new!

Taking a break from laundry or weeding,
I’ll get my laptop and sit on my bed.
No matter what errands the day has me doing,
Visions of contest prompts dance in my head.

Writing-dot-com is with me for evening.
While my husband watches tv
I’m blogging and writing, emailing, reviewing,
Surfing the site. Oh I’m glad to be me!
