         "What's today's flash fiction peompt?"

         "There isn't any."

         "No contest today?"

         "There's a contest, but we can write about anything we want."

         "Anything?"

         "Within reason."

         "Three hundred words or less about anything within reason. That doesn't narrow it down much,"

         "Are you going to enter?"

         "I don't know yet. Are you?"

         "I might."

         "Why isn't there a prompt?"

         "I guess Tehanu couldn't think one up."

         "I could do that."

         "So do it then and write about it."

         "I will,"
