Stand Beside Me, My Love
A Moncielle Stand beside me, my love. Breathless, I feel your hand softly caressing mine. The presence of our love, will stand the test of time. Stand beside me, my love. Lips touching lips, I melt 'neath the soft moon-lit night, pondering our future, All doubts will soon take flight. Stand beside me, my love. The angels sing a song, while you're enchanting me. The world's disappearing. Your eyes are all I see. Stand beside me, my love. This is the moment, I'll remember all my life. We're walking down the aisle, brand new husband and wife. A Moncielle is a four stanza poem written as follows. Stanza one Abcdc, stanza two Aefgf, stanza three Ahiji, and stanza four Aklml. All lines have six syllables.
