Weeping Willow
Pantoum that is about a tree and sorrow

It’s a sad sight, to see a tree cry
Even their hearts can break
Left alone it will die
Happy emotions become fake

Even their hearts can break
When the fight is lost
Happy emotions become fake
In the absence of light’s frost

When the fight is lost
The prize is taken from sight
In the absence of light’s frost
All reasoning is lost to the night

The prize is taken from sight
No longer giving me a reason to care
All reasoning is lost to the night
To simply leave the house is a dare

No longer giving me reason to care
I have found shade under a willow
To simply leave the house is a dare
That now is a consequence I sow

I have found shade under a willow
Left alone it will die
That now is a consequence I sow
It’s a sad sight, to see a tree cry
