Trapped in Flames
A poem of the pain of my depression

Trapped in Flames

I live within the flame
My skin burns and bubbles in the heat
Trapped and consumed
My pain's eternal
For only when the candle lies extinguished
Will I gain my release
To the darkness beyond
To the death I desire
