This is an "open letter" addressesing something non-writing related affecting me
Dear my graphic button thieves, Should I be flattered that you clearly admire my graphics? Stealing my personal button to advertise YOUR site is not admiration. Please stop. Plugboards are designed to promote ones own personal website, to draw in visitors and make friends. I designed, cut, blended, and am hosting that button to promote my weblog with all those reasons in mind. When you steal my button (with MY logo) it is more than false advertising. It is a lack of trust. I can not trust that you will not visit my blog and steal my design code, nor I can I trust that you will not visit my own plugboard with yet another sites own personal button. Sure plugboards rotate so fast the crime may not be spotted at all, but it is still a crime. Stealing is still stealing. You can look at my button. I'll even allow you to visit my host as well as my blog but please do not force me to quit advertising my weblog because you are clearly too unwebsavvy enough to make your own botton. Please understand that I'll be glad to help you find one for your own site but a button with MY logo is not to be used for YOUR site. Thank you. Amyaurora
