MY ANGER, MY FRIEND

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
It brings me in to action,
lighting the flame.
Some of my greatest work was done in anger.

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
It takes my energy,
drains the well that is already so dry.
Some of my greatest work has been undone in anger.

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
My anger, hatred and wrath is released,
by the will to do better, to have only the positive.
Some of my greatest work was done in that struggle.

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
Love, creativity, good will, warm arms of good Karma,
all undone by one vicious word or act.
Some of my worst was done in a losing battle to be only good.

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
It give me powers, and takes them away.
It gives me poisonous feelings and forces warm blood through my veins.
Some of my worst was done in the losing battle to do harm.

Anger is a untrustworthy friend.
Positive for ever combined with negative,
to make a force of energy.
Moving away from and towards balance.
