springtime piano lesson
Two linking Chronos~w poems.

sometimes, looking out a third story window, distraction strikes
I imagine myself floating freely with the clouds
bobbing and diving with the swallows
dodging falling raindrops, reflected by flashes of sudden sunlight
rejoicing in a welcome spring shower

caught suddenly daydreaming instead of listening to a student
my attention focuses on youthful sounds imitating music
I remember the wind's gusting melody
the swallows' song, rain tapping gently against the window
piano music mixed with spring rain

The Chronos~w form is a five line poem with a definite word count per line; respectively 9,8,6,9, and 6 words for each of the five lines. I have doubled the poem.
