Inspired to write about colors, and this is what came out.

Colors swirl
like a pastel whirlpool of
emotions,
feelings,
thoughts.

Storm clouds of dark blue
and gold
hover as nosey siblings might,
searching,
longing to cover the world in a rain of
greens,
scarlets,
grays.

The lone bird with rainbow feathers
watches the blur pass by,
envious,
lustful,
saddened,
as they ignore the sounds
and colors drifting away.
