What hesitance could do to you when you need movement the most...
Tick, tick, tick...
It echoes within my soul,
Biting into me as I watch you leave.
There's only seconds-
Seconds that I surely cannot waste-
To stop you from walking out.

Tick, tick, tick...
My feet rush forward,
But my hand looses grip of your sleeve,
And those seconds which tick by-
Those moments that are now lost-
Are my worst enemy.

Sniff, shuffle, drip...
I'm try to stop the tears,
Yet they defy me so.
Those precious seconds are lost,
Just like you,
All because of my stupidity.
