The World as I see it

The world around me shatters to pieces,
And I am totally helpless
Is there anything I can do?
I want to stop this menace,
But all I can do is wait,
Wait for us,beings to destroy this haven
Without which we cannot survive
Where is that humans beings shared?
The love that beaded us in a thread;
Where is the dream that we wanted to realize?
The dream that brought us together,
In the hope of making a more peaceful world,
Questions gather in my mind,
But I know no one will answer,
There is not a single being in existence
Who cannot solve this riddle,
For evryone knows the answer,
But none are ready to say,
Fear and terror lurk around
And our wounded hearts sob away,
Fed up with all the slaughter,
Feeble with all the pain,
Tired of the mental torture,
Fearful of the coming future,
We await the terrible end,
Which slowly and surreptiously comes our way,
Although already on the road to self-destruction
We refuse to mend our ways,
All I can do is pray,
Pray to my Creator and say:
'O, Almighty Allah help us and show us the right way.'
