The Invisible Man
sometimes it feels like being a sideshow act

Come, the sideshow starts today!
You can see the spectacles on display.
Watch, imagine, fantasize
You will never believe your eyes!
Standing before you in front of this wall
is a man who can't be seen at all.
But he is here, without a doubt,
though you won't see him move about.
How do you suppose he feels
when others doubt that he is real?
Just because he's out of sight,
to be out of mind isn't right.
It may seem that he's not there,
but if you could show him that you care
you will believe when you see
that the invisible man is me.
