Return to Me
Poem of Sorrow

Substance in shadow, silence in darkness.
The wind and the rain continue.
I walk through the shadows
And measure the darkness,
Always searching for you.

Where have you gone?
Why have you left me?
My heart searches and yearns.
My mind is awhirl like a dark
storm at midnight.

I walk in the darkness,
Alone with my heartaches.
My darling, where can you be?
Return to me. I know that you love me,
And my heart is breaking for you.
