hurricane winds and rain spinning tears mixed in anger, frustration watching everything I love destroyed by forces I cannot control the eye of the storm rare moments when I smile seldom remembering to express my regrets to declare my love calming my anguished heart blue skies may appear but the shadow behind my eyes dims the calm sky's reflective tint sadness returns unappeasable with the howling wind houses are ravaged drenched in an abundance of emotional frenzy homes, where hearts are kept may one day find new walls but to cure the ills of the soul magic is needed soft words of reassurance the storm has taken them from me will I uncover them in its wake? soft words of reassurance 18 june, 2006 (Charles' Theme Park Contest)
