gray skies threaten
disharmony not just thunder, rain wind for anger cries as loud the explosion of tears unbalances harsh words and burning hot air and finding the storm's calm eye before the final inevitable assault of the hurricane, lover's dispute losing its cap… tender confidence broken like poppies in the fields a smile, like the sun's rays, can not always mend hasty words, the unjust natural fury found in life; hope always springs from unseen wells blue skies return... disharmony between lovers 20 june, 2006 (winner in Charles Theme Park Poetry Contest) Author's Note : The form here is the Pi Poem.
