no Timmy, three by five
does not make eighty-three just because that's how old grandma Georgia is today and there's three of you kids five of us now here at home yeah, something's missing since your pa left no Timmy, three by five does not make eighty-three that's how many tears you cried yesterday cause you're lonely for him and that's how many hugs you got when the radio stopped playing his favorite song -- a message in a bottle -- and I finally stopped my weeping… yeah, something's missing for he promised to tell you every day that his love song was for no one other than the three of you no Timmy, three by five does not make eight-three there's no reason why not like no reason he left us for three by five was the age I had when he found me in the streets, covered in rain oh Timmy, for years three by five he loved me for a real tale of city love but something's missing from our life now he's gone our Lenny, the man on the side of life, looking in and forgetting to say hello he called me Miss Neon 24 june, 2006 (Poetic Paradise Daily Challenge)
