I've a calico cat
Named Butterscotch Kisses If she ever marries Then she will be Mrs. She's the prettiest thing That I ever did see And it's such a blessing That fate gave her to me She was homeless and wet At the convenience store When I saw her I bet I could have one or more If I could just get close Enough to pick one up She's the one that God chose And let me interrupt Her short life in the wild Now she's at home sweet home And I feel like a child Happy that she won't roam The cruel, lonely streets I'll make her comfortable She can lay on my sheets She is so wonderful Already she's purring When I rub on her fur I think it's occuring That I really love her I'm gaining her trust now It's only been one day I think she knows somehow That she is here to stay!
