Different Girl
For The Writer's Cramp. My first attempt at poetry.

Nobody even knew my name...
As I walked down those halls
I was the new girl
I wasn't the same as the rest
I was that girl from another province
A different place
I had different ideas about the world

They didn't even want to know my name
I wasn't like them
All they knew about me
Was that I wasn't one of their religion
Wasn't a native to the area
To them, I was that odd looking young girl
And I was nothing
Because no one bothered to learn my name
