Sweet Summer Memories
A poem about summertime!

Sweet Summer Memories

Long hot summer days
trying to find a breeze.
Spent in carefree ways
Making sweet memories.

Playing baseball games,
cheering on the sidelines.
Fourth of July fun and flames,
loud pops and bright shines.

Pool time fun and splashing
or sprinklers so cool and free.
Kids tan with smiles so dashing
playing hide and seek, " one, two, three... "

Bike rides, playing 'til dark
catching lightning bugs.
Kite-flying in the park
and sticky ice cream hugs.

Long hot summer days
trying to find a breeze.
Spent in carefree ways
Making sweet memories.
