The Keeper Safely tucked away, the chair hangs dusted with time. Ghosts of cat paws rest upon its worn lap. Its frail back shudders as a summer breeze meanders through an open door and tickles splintered legs. Once a polished beauty now a barn wall keeper generations old, sadly forgotten by all but the spider weaving her trap amidst the dried up memories.
