from the valley of angels
the inspiration of a neighbor playing his guitar

windborne melody
floats into an open window
comes a guitar strumming
silky voice seducing
beloved muse
one whose sweet message
I heed daily…
he lives in the valley of angels
and may greet all
from this special dwelling
bringing peaceful harmony,
whispered truths…
it is somewhere far away
but not close enough,
finding him seems impossible
his song reflecting sad joy
slow beat
psalmodic rhythms
gently sung
as if dedicated to someone unique…
my ears will never be those
graced by that gift
though on breezy days like today
lofty music reaches many people
knowing restless saturday aftenoons
