Influenza Land

Oh my nose
It is stuffy
And my eyelids
They are puffy
But Oh, what the hey
Seems I’m sick everyday
Living here in Influenza Land

Oh my stomach’s complainin’
And my head
Is a painin’
I have flu again
And it ain’t my friend
Living here in Influenza Land

In the kitchen hubby’s making dinner
You know he’ll be eatin’ it real soon
He’ll say “Honey do you want to eat some?”
And I’ll say “No” and run to the bathroom

Later on I’ll perspire
As my fever goes higher
My sanity flees
I’m down on my knees
Living here in Influenza Land
