Eventually it all comes clear.
you can't love a girl with sadness in her eyes.
you can't love a girl with mascara on her cheeks.
you can't love a girl with scars on her wrists;
she tries to hide all of this with a smile.

you can't love a girl with nothing to offer.
you can't love a girl who can hardly trust herself,
you can't love a girl who needs you,
when she needs you more than you need her.

you can't love a girl when you won't take the time.
you can't love a girl when your eyes won't meet her's.
you can't love a girl when you have a girl on your arm
and she won't let you go.

and you can't love me if i can't love myself.
so maybe it's all my fault.
