While some people think of nothing but a day filled with sun
The night and I, we are as one To me there's nothing more beautiful than a starlit sky As I sit on my porch steps, only the night sounds and I It's only the night, and as I sit here to think The night and I in perfect sync We belong together like the moon to the sky My idea of perfection is the night and I Alone in the dark without a care in the world Just me and the lonely call of the night birds A full moon shines brightly overhead To cast a silvery halo upon the night creatures' lush bed Neon lights shimmering like diamonds closeby A perfect combination, the night and I
