Somber streams, Lazy meadows
Silent screams, Empty shadows Here and there and in between Grasping at rays of light which seep Through crevices and cracks unseen Scared and alone in this chasm deep Quaint, somber, quiet truth For you I search no longer Alas, I yearn no more to sleuth; My desire to flee far stronger I've breached the depths of wisdom's edge Passed up the shores of ignorant bliss Nearly to drown in the dismal knowledge That the ignorance I scorned I soon will miss Oh, Brave new world full of cowardly foe! I fear the outcome so bleak
