Final Triumph
for my family.
She turns around, looks back in time,
Realizes, "My... things have changed."
The first moments of observance,
occurred the day of deliverance.
Innocence reeked in great abundance.
A great world full of possibilities,
wonder at every glance.
Such a miracle to behold.
So young, and pure.
Teenage years a decade later,
begun the journey to the future.
Rebellion was the nature,
with every action and thought.
Discoveries and lessons of human
nature, and life…hurtful, wonderful
ecstatic, heartbreaking…
Such an upheaval to behold.
So energetic and full of life.
Maturity; a blessed welcome,
brought by bundles of joy and
both happy and disappointing unions.
Watching mistakes made, repeated,
learning and teaching…regretting
living, wishing, accepting...
Finally, Understanding had become
a vital part in the life to come.
Such a revelation to behold.
Time passed, memories remain
So many years later, older and wiser
glancing back, so much life gained,
lost, surrounded by loved ones.
So much to be thankful for....
a life full of achievements,
realization; Final Triumph.
