Hello Everyone! Is everyone having a good summer? It is July. We are having our County Fair and I am on vacation. I am enjoying myself. I have been shopping and will head to the Beach next week. Angel is busy with her Web Page and as always does the most beautiful art work!

We decided to write about favorite movies this month. I love movies. I wish I had written "Titanic", The Pirate Movies and the Star Wars ones. I don't have enough writing experience for for that. Okay. We will start with Angel's favorite movies. Here they are:
Angel's Favorite Movies:

SOMETHING'S GOT TO GIVE, 2003: Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson will make you laugh hysterically! Jack plays an older Play Boy who only dated younger women. Diane plays the girl's mother and Jack and Diane fall in love. It was the most wonderful and funniest movie that I have ever seen. I have watched the movie about 12 times and when I see it again, it is like the first time. It makes me cry and laugh at the same time. How about 10 stars! Terrific!

MEET THE FOCKERS, 2004: Stars Robert De Niro who plays an ex-CIA agent and Dustin Hoffman who was a stay at home ex-lawyer, Barbara Streistand plays a Sex Therapist. A very funny movie. I give it 5 stars.

FORREST GUMP 1994: With Tom Hanks and Sally Fields who plays his mother. Forrrest is a low IQ young man who met Jenny as a little girl, the love of his life. He goes to Viet Nam, buys a fishing boat and becomes a millionaire.

BABY BOOM,1987: With Diane Keaton who plays a high powered business woman who inherits her cousin's child. Sam Sheppard plays a Veterian in a small town in New England and the couple fall in love as she raises her deceased cousin's child. Wonderful movie. I give it 5 stars.

HOME ALONE, 1990:With Macaulay Culkin who plays a 8 year old the family accidently leave him at home by himself. Theyh ad forgoten about him until they were on the airplane. The young boy had to deal with crimnals who were robbing homes around the neighborhood. It was a funny movie. Everyone came back home and had a wonderful Christmas together. I give it 8 stars!

Thanks, Angel. I love "The Fockers", "Forrest Gump" and "Baby Boom."

Megan: These are my favorites:

TITANIC, 1997: Starring Leonardo DeCaprio and Kate Winslet. I have seen this 80 times!
I love Jack and Rose and the romance in this. I love how Jack saved Rose from drowning and freezing to death. I cry over this but in the end, they are reunited in the after life after old Rose dies. All their friends are there as well that they met on the Titanic and this does gives us hope for the after life. I love when Rose got the Heart of the Ocean necklace from Cal. {I have 4 cheaper versions of this necklace!}} I hate Cal but I love Billy Zane. He is handsome even though I love Jack! I admire Molly Brown and when the ship sank, this seemed so real. This is a movie that tugged at your heart as 1500 people lost their lives when Titanic sank. James Cameron did a great job with this movie and I am a hopeless romantic! I loved when Eric Braden played John Asten as I have watched him play Victor Newman for years on "Young and the Restless!" Course, we have Dr. Bombay as a high society person who was likeable. The Irish guy Tommy with the neat Irish accent. I give this movie 100 stars! I admire Rose. She did a lot of things with her life and in the end after she told her story, she is ready to be reunited with Jack in death. One of the best movies ever!

GONE WITH THE WIND,1939:Starring Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. A Southern War movie and romance. We watch Scarlett O'Hara marry the wrong men 2 times and she thinks she loves Ashley who she can't have. We watch her struggle through the war and remain loyal and loving to her parents and Ashley's wife. She really loves Rhett and she doesn't realize that until the death of her daughter and her best friend Melanie{Who she thought that she hated!} who married Ashley. It is too late for Scarlett. Rhett leaves her but she gets him back in the book and movie "Scarlett". You like Scarlett. She has spunk and you admire her and you find yourself falling in love with Rhett. Good drama here and a 5 ***** Movie for sure.

OFFICER AND A GENTLEMEN, 1982: Stars Richard Gere and Debra Winger. A ou college graduate, man joins the Navy to be a pilot. He finds love with a young woman Paula and has a rough time in the Navy as he tries to prove that he will be a great officer and a pilot. His best friend Sid commits suicide and he physically fights with his Drill Sergeant as he remembers his mother commiting suicide and Paula's best friend Lynette used Sid and drove him to suicide.Zach turns his back on Paula but in the end, matches into the factory where she works and carries her off to be with him. Tearful moment as true love prevails here and Zach matures and changes his cocky attitude. 5*****Movie here.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS, 1989 or 1990, I Think. Stars: Dolly Patron, Sally Field, Julia Roberts, Shirley McClaine, Darryl Hannah. Heat warming movie about women gossiping in the Beauty Shop, attending bridal showers and Weddings. They help Field's character through her emotional conflict when her daughter dies and leaves behind a husband and a two year old boy. A crabby McClaine and Olympia Dukakis add humour this movie. I like when Dolly tells Hannah that she is just yelling at her husband and these women remind me of my friends and family. 5*****Movie here, too.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN, BOTH MOVIES: Starring Johnny Depp{my heart throb!} , Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly. A lot of action here with Pirates and romance with Elizabeth and Orlando's character. In the last one, she kisses Captain Jack Sparrow and feels that she may be in love with him. Captain Jack and his ship were swallowed by a giant octopus and the next movie{which will be the third one} they have to search for him. A cute little monkey and parrot, former dead pirates make these movies delightful as does Captain Jack's humour. 5**** for both!

Oh! We can't forget Star Wars. Luke Skywalker, Hand Solo, Princess Leia, Anakin Skywalker{Darth Vader} and Padme. Luke and Hans are heros but we learn that Darth Vader wasn't always bad. His romance with Padme makes you feel soft and love Darth Vader! A lot of action in these movies with robots and other interesting animal characters. 5***** here, too.
