Travelers Of Magic

I made my way into "Keroy's Shop Of Animals" and many sounds filled my ears,shrieking,purring,clicking,squaking,and rattleing were just some to name a few.On my right side there were piles of empty cages and boxes and on my right was the shop counter,behind it was a man who was bending over trying to find something. "Er,hello" I said and heard the man curse as he hit his head apon the countertop.He stood up and rubbed his bald head,and adjusted his round glasses."Hello,names Keroy,welcome!" he said and smiled,while picking up a cage that held a horned serpant. "You must be Sarah,heard about you,traveling the seas youve been!" he chimed and placed the cage with the horned snake right next to him on the counter,the snake lunged but hit the cage side and re-coiled in pure disgust."Yes,I have been traveling,and I have been looking for a certain animal to set my travel needs" I said and looked at the back of the shop,stationed right by the back door was fish tanks and a cat watching the swimming fish with greedy eyes. "How bout a horned snake?" he said and pointed to the cage holding the horned snake beside him. "Or a Plif! They are cute little creatures." Keroy exclaimed and held up a creature that could have been mistaked for cotten candy. "Im looking for something,bigger." I said my fingers tapped the glass counter where a picture of a dragon was. Keroys eyebrow went up and he pulled a seat up under him.He sat down and pulled his hands together. "A dragon,I thought you knew how to tame dragons,you could just get one out of the wild." he said with a stern look,he then pulled out a peice of paper and a pheonix feather quill."I know I could do that,but from my hearing,I have heard that you have a dragon in your keep that is supposably going to be put down by the MCC (Mystic Creature Control) for it is to,how should I put it,dangerous?" my words were cold but I had no intention of being mean. "You are correct,but foolish if you want the beast,his as cold hearted as a demon,and has every intention of killing anyone,but I will show you him" Keroy said and slowly got up,he pulled the paper and quill from the desk and grabbed a key from his pocket. "Come now,I havent got all day" he said and made a motion with his hand. I shook my head and followed Keroy,we got to the back door and the cat looked up at me,its eyes searched my thoughts and then it reterned to gazeing at the fish tank.Keroy put a gold key into the back door lock and twisted it intill a small click could be heard.And slowly he opened the door,it creaked and a light flickered on as he did so,revealing a row of wood stalls,all haveing a watery glow."You put a water wall on all the stalls,it works well?" I asked as I watched the stalls glow a pale blue.Keroy nodded his head and walked foward,he placed his hand on a pair of gloves and a whip.He cautiously moved toward the stalls.I looked over into the first stall,a bunch of baby dragons were within its glowing walls,they rolled and tumbled,while some slept and ate. The second and third stalls held a pair of New Feild dragons.And finally they got to the back.The big stall was barred and dident just have a Water Wall,but a Snap Curse. A heavy breathing could be heard coming from the stall and a slight growling."This is the one,he is not one to be messed with" Keroy said and motioned for me to go closer.I approached the stall and looked in.In the back was a black Snout Barred dragon.He lunged but recoiled as the Snap Curse shocked him.He glared and bared his sharp glistening teeth."How much for him Keroy,I will give you all you want. Keroy sighed and grabbed the quill and paper from his pocket, "Lets just say you are doing me a favor,hes free" he said and began writeing on the paper. "Free but Keroy I.." Keroy cut me off in a sharp tone "You keep him,just say its a late birthday present,here is a paper saying you own him. He handed me the paper and I read It slowly,

"Thank You Keroy" I said and folded the paper,shook his hand and put it in my pocket."Let me get my leader and other things out of my cart and I will be back to fetch him" I said and turned around,my shoes scraping against the wood floor.Keroy nodded and went with me,but stopped and shuffled around behind his counter as I went outside.The Gryphons purred and clicked thier beaks as I approached my cart.I put my hand into ,my pocket and pulled out two peices of jerky,they watched with hungry eyes.I threw them the jerky and went into the back of my cart,and grabbed a Lead Rope,No Will Halter and a black blind fold. As I came inside Keroy was waiting at the back door,he was also petting the cat who was purring with contentment."Lets go get him then" Keroy said and walked through the back door to the dragons cage.Keroy made a slight motion with his hand and a wall suddenly disappered,"easy accses to your cart,so we dont have to take him through the shop,that would be disaturois" Keroy said and chuckled.He grabbed a pearly pink bottle from his pocket.A few words could be made out on its pearly pink surface.It read:

Sleeping Powder
Instructions:
Throw On The Person
Or Creature You
Want To Fall
Asleep.To awake
him/her,just snap
your fingers twice..

Keroy twisted the cork top off it and made another motion with his hand,the powder suddenly flew out of the bottle and onto the dragon,causing the dragon to sneeze and fall over with a bang,he had fallen asleep right away.I opened the stall and put the halter over the dragons muzzle,my hands touched his black head and I pulled the lead rope through a hole in the halter."Ready?" I asked Keroy and whispered a spell onto the rope,causing it to twist and bend,then is sparkled a faint red."Im ready as long as that spell you put on is ready" Keroy said in a worried tone.I looked about and nodded to Keroy,he watched as I snapped my fingers once,and at the second snap the dragon awoke instantly.His green eyes burned with hate and as he tried to spew a hot flame at us,he choked and growled. "Yep,I did the fire choke spell right on the rope,it effects everything it touches" I said and pulled on the rope,my grip got stronger as I pulled.As soon as the dragon took a step I said "Flyereo" and the dragon lifted in the air,he couldent move for he was frozen. "Lets go" I muttered and pulled on the rope.The dragon floated with me,as if it was a living ballon animal.I got to my cart and tied the rope onto a metal peice attached the cart.Keroy said something that I couldent hear but it made the rope melt itself to the metal peice "Thanks alot Keroy" I said as I jumped into the front seat in the cart.I grabbed the reighns of my gryphons and snapped them.The gryphons started running and took off,with the dragon being pulled (or floated) along.Keroy waved goodbye and went back into his shop with a slight smile attached to his plump face.And when I would get home,I would have alot of training to do,and thus dragon tameing would begin.
