This came to me in the middle of a Union Underground Song
You know what he said
when I cut his throat?

Nothing.

He just flopped around
like a fish gasping for air.

I thought
it would end soon
(it was getting old . . .)

but he kept flopping
and bleeding.

Soon the floor was covered
and he slid
more than he flopped.

That's when I heard the kid
cry upstairs.

He didn't take long.
