I've heard that some of those lights in the sky
They aren't lights anymore
So I've heard
A tad bit absurd though; that's what I think
That those stars in the sky, they already died
But their light is still getting here
Still hitting our eyes

I wonder though, will it be that way when I die
Will I simply pass away, dust to dust
Just another man into just another shade beneath
Some global tree; the whole world is made up of
Adams and Eves.

I'm a bit scared to die
I think if I try heard enough though
If I scream they will hear it as the sound waves pass them by
It's nice to dream that I'll be that way
A light in the sky; still hitting their eyes long after I die
