There He Goes
There he goes,
he's slipping away.
There he goes,
yet, I know not what to say.

My heart has started aching.
I think I feel it breaking.
He just keeps on walking.
I wish that we'd done more talking.

There he goes,
he's slipping away.
There he goes,
yet, I know not what to say

As I opend my mouth to speak,
he turned around with a tear on his cheek.
As the rain started falling,
I started to cry,
as he came back over
and whispered a final goodbye.
