Wanting You
About rough-housing in the pool and what grew thereafter.

I wish I knew how,
I would embrace you.
Dark and beautiful
Despite everything I do
I cant stop wanting you.
And when we touched
I couldn’t help but feel
As if the whole world
Was much too much
And everything was real.
Unto the softest moment,
With our puppying around
A fire burns between us
But this is unsteady ground.
I want you, want you
But have other obligations
Even if that love
Was never really true.
