Summer is
(as most creatures know) A rather hot time of the year Unfortunately, Muffy is not most creatures Muffy has very little in common with other creatures I think she deserves her own species The Muffilus Anyway, back to summer It's been very hot lately And if my dear Muffy had any sense She would try to stay cool By lying in the grass Or the garden Or the porch But Muffy For reasons that I do not understand Likes to lie in the garage Where (last I checked) It was 106 degrees (that's kind of hot) People tell me that good pet owners put their pets inside on days like today But trying to take Muffy inside Would be like trying to take a chainsaw inside While the chainsaw is running Only it would be more bloody Because in a fight of Muffy versus a chainsaw The chainsaw wouldn't stand a chance So Muffy stays in the garage And I feel like a really bad pet owner I hope she doesn't die That would make me feel bad I wish Muffy had more sense Or... any sense at all It's really hot here
