In a locked room,
With closed curtains, You become yourself. Concealed. Hidden. You are what you are, And you are beautiful. Zip up your dress, And apply that makeup. Line your eyes. Put on your wig. Take one more deep breath. You are what you are, And you are beautiful. I'll hold your hand, Try to make you feel safe. I'll take you with me, Everywhere I go. I've got my eye on you. You are what you are, And you are beautiful. I won't let them beat you. I'll shield your ears, And hold you, As tears fall. Its not your fault. You are what you are, And you are beautiful.
