Secrecy Stolen
A poem about a lack of secrecy keeping you trapped inside the past.

My private life now open,
To all who wish to see,
All secrecy stolen
They see all of me,
The key to my life copied,
For those who wish to steal
Everything that's true to me,
Everything that's real,
Seeing everything I've seen,
Stolen memories,
Ripping out the happy times,
The times I've tried to freeze,
Locked inside what once was mine,
Trapped in what I've known,
What was so free and open
Hurts now that I have grown,
Hiding in the shadows,
Not touched by the light,
Distorted by the darkness
And pained when it's too bright,
The fear that causes anger,
The love that causes pain,
Winter into water,
Trapped inside the rain.
