My Babys Gone
2 years ago when my daughter "grew up"

Today my 2 year old did something that completely changed the way I will think of her forever. I can no longer refer to her as a baby, oh no, she proved to me that she is, indeed, a big girl. With a great big attitude I might add.

It all started when I was trying to, to no avail, get her to stop opening and closing the door. We went back and forth, me saying "NO" and her not listening, or caring for that matter, to a word that I said. When I finally got up to move her away from the door, she did something that left me completely speechless. She turned around, hands on hips and sweet little face all scrunched up trying to be as mean as she could be, and yelled "MOMMY, I AM VERY ANGRY WITH YOU!!"

What did my baby just say to me? I can't believe it, when did this happen? Where was I? Not only did she assert herself in a way that I never thought could be possible, but she managed to play out that little diva attitude flawlessly.

How could I have let this happen? I let her growing up get way out of control. She isn't suppose to be able to communicate how she feels, she is suppose to be little and cute, and perfect!

I am still looking around wondering where this sweet little girl could have learned such attitude, and so perfectly. Who does she think she is? I know what you're thinking right now, you want me to look in a mirror right? Well wrong, how could you think such things about me? I AM VERY ANGRY WITH YOU!
