Forever Lost
This poem is a bit raw and unrefined cuz I just sat down and wrote what I was feeling

Why is my mind here again?
Playing to emotions
Replaying motions
That will never occur.
I scream for it to stop
Still it persists
Daring to draw
Pictures of hope
Hoping to tempt
Tempting my heart
And already the battle is lost.
I've relinquished myself
To unrequited love
In a moment
The moment
I dared to believe.
There's no escape
No place to find
A refuge from his face
Facing this fate
My heart weeps
For freedom
Forever lost.
