7.Age you act:: Sometimes 12, sometimes 40
8.Age you wish you were:: I'm cool with the age I am now.

33.Name one person whose arms you feel safe in: I dunno...a good hug at the opportune moment could come from anyone...My favorite person to hug is Mike, though, because no matter what he's doing at the time, he completely freezes and goes into some weird faraway happy place in his head (I think...I dunno what he's actually thinking). But it's fun. And he's soft and cuddly (and a GREAT pillow).
34.Do your friends know you?: A few of them.
35.Friend that lives farthest away:: Madeleine- in San Diego- or Matt in Wycombe.

Love and All That

1.Do you consider love a mistake?: Never
2.What do you find romantic?: The typical stuff. But what really gets me is when someone knows I like something and then goes out of their way to do it just because they know it'll make me happy. And I'm not saying buying stuff. Little things that have immense meaning.
3.Turn-on?: Intellect. And a good sense of humor. But I love nerds. As much as I'm attracted to athletes and pretty boys, all of my crushes have been complete nerds.
4.Turn-off?: A person with MPD (one day a nice guy, one day an asshole), bad hygienic practices, and too much musculature. Also, I hate people who compliment me too much. I really hate saccharine sweet guys- a compliment is nice, but greeting me with "I knew I'd see someone beautiful today" every time we see each other is a little much. I feel like I'm up on a pedestal and I don't want to be on one. I like a guy who has enough confidence to know that I love him and that I know he loves me. I also really don't tend to like darker guys, and men who know more about D&D than the World Series. It's cool to know about both (I don't HATE D&D), but a guy who doesn't like sports (or at least give sports a chance) just doesn't do it for me.
5.First kiss?: I’ll let you know when I have it. Maybe it's 'cause I'm so picky about the guys I like, lol.
6.If someone u had no interest in had interest in dating u how would u feel?: I'd feel flattered that they asked, and kind've awkward for saying no, but kinda embarrassed that they liked me. And did anyone else notice that the typing was much better before this question? "You" becomes "u" and stuff.
7.Do you prefer knowing someone before dating them or going: I’d rather know them. I don’t trust people easily. Friends make the best boyfriends.
8.Have u ever wished it was more socially acceptable 4 a girl 2 ask a guy out: It’s not socially acceptable? No wonder I got turned down. And to whomever typed this thing, 4 and for are completely different.
9.Have you ever been romantically attracted to someone physically unattractive: Yeah. It really is personality for me.
10.Do you think the opposite sex finds you good looking?: No, not really. I mean, no guy has ever told me he found me attractive. Well, a couple have, but...um. They don't count.
11.What is best about the opposite sex?: A lot of things. Guys are good people.
12.What is the worst thing about the opposite sex?: Their need to be “men” for the benefit of other guys.
13.What's the last present someone gave you?: My birfday! The girlfriends bought me food, the 'rents bought me a really awesome computer bag, but my favorite present was from the boys. They got me a book. But the present wasn't important, really. It was the fact that one of the boys put my happiness above his discomfort with celebrating birthdays. It goes with that whole "what do you find romantic" thing...except it wasn't really a romantic gesture. Y'all know what I mean.
14.Are you in love?: No...maybe.
15.Do you consider your significant other hot?: What S.O.? I have an S.O.?

Who Was the Last Person...

1.That haunted you?: I think Abraham Lincoln showed up the other day. Or was it Joan of Arc?
2.You wanted to kill?: My brother

4.That laughed at you?: At me? No one. With me? Tons of people.
5.That turned you on?: None of your damn business.
6.You went shopping with?: I dunno- not much of a shopper.
7.That broke your heart?: I dunno...but Mike left my heart on a table at IHOP.
8.To disappoint you?: I'm disappointed on almost a regular basis these days.
9.To ask you out?: Never happened...well, I've been propositioned by men a lot. I tend to ignore those and not count them.
10.To make you cry?: I dunno- can’t really remember.
11.To brighten up your day?: One of my coworkers.
12.That you thought about?: A couple of people...
13.You saw a movie with?: Some friends.
14.You talked to on the phone?: It changes frequently.
15.You talked to through IM/ICQ?: Dunno...
16.You saw?: Myself in the mirror
17.You lost?: I lost Jesus again. But I think he’s behind the couch.

~Hopes~

1.Optimistic, or pessimistic?: Both
2.What do you hope for more than anything?: Honestly? To just be happy and content at the end of the day.
3.What do you hope the weather will be like tomorrow?: Nice.

3.What is your dream job?: Writer, working in a museum, maybe a professor
4.What does your dream guy/girl look/act like?: Looks…I like guys with strong features and he’d really have to be grounded, strong, and have an intelligent wit, but he’d also have to be very forgiving and easy going. Also, I like to take care of the people I love- make sure they're happy and content and stuff. He has to be willing to let me do this for him. All this just to put up with me, lol.
5.Whats your dream day like (not necessarily date-wise): On a hammock by the beach with a book, some music, and a cell phone so I could call my friends over for a beach party when I was done with the book.
6.A genie offers to grant you ONE wish, what would you wish for?: Contentment- I know I would never be content until I was situated in a good job, with a good husband, children, and a nice house in a good neighborhood.
7.If you could be any animal, which one would you choose and why?: Leopard because they're sleek and elegant and beautiful, Dolphin because I'd love to spend my day just swimming around, or Eagle because I really wanna fly.
8.You can return to ANY time period. Which one do you choose and why?: The height of Renaissance England (Elizabeth 1) because it was a wonderful time to be an Englishman OR the American Revolution because I’ve always had this inexplicable draw to that time period.
9.You have to belong to another culture. Which one do you choose and why?: I’m movin to England, bitches. English culture is totally different than American culture. Hell, I could move to Georgia and be in a different culture…but definitely England.

11.You are kicked out of your country. Which new one do you move to and why?: England. Why do I need to explain? It’s ENGLAND!

13.You get to meet any historical figure. Who do you choose and why?: Oh Gods. I need to choose? Uh…Jesus Christ, ‘cause I think his image has been so corrupted by Christianity that I’d really just like to meet the man behind the “god”.
14.If you could have any magical power, what would you want and why?: Telepathy. I’d like to know what people were thinking, because it could really help me deal with the fact that I have issues understanding people.
15.You have to change your race. Which would you choose and why?: Elf- because I'd wanna stay humanesque and have a great tie to the Earth and the forests and be wise and all that good stuff. If you meant ethnicity, I’d say Native American, because they rock.
16.You can outlaw any one thing of your choosing. What is it and why?: Tobacco. I hate the stuff. It’s destroyed too many people and it’s just disgusting.
17.Uh oh, you're stuck in a fairy tale. Which one would you rather be in?: Cinderella…or maybe Sleeping Beauty. I think sleeping until some guy comes to wake me up and marry me…that would be nice.
18. If you could learn any language, which would you choose?: Italian. I'm gonna pick it up 'cause I've taken Latin for 5 years and it would prolly be easier for me than most. And my friend is gonna teach me French.
19.Ah ha! A fountain of youth! At what age would you rather drink from it? Why: I’d say about 35, because then things are right at the height of life.

21.If you could get rid of anything in this world, what would it be? Why?: Christian Fundamentalists. I don’t think I need to explain myself.
22.Should everyone be carnivores, omnivores, or herbivores? Why? I think that everyone needs to be what they are to keep the balance intact. Meat eating cows…aren’t right.

24.Would you ever make the world one religion if you had the chance?: No I would not. This isn’t a theocracy.
25.All but ONE modern technology is outlawed. Pick the one that stays. Why?: I’d have to say indoor plumbing. As long as I can take my shower and go potty inside and not in an outhouse…I’d be happy.
