Emptiness
a short poem written in a period of loneliness...

Walking through this desert
of vast emptiness
you left in my heart.
Using the sun's last rays,
your name can be read
on every ice pillar I pass by.

Looking towards the sky,
I see through these blind eyes
the deep wound in the dark above
into which colours were absorbed.

Wishing upon
a grey scaled rainbow,
I can hear my soundless voice
calling out for you.
