Treasures In My Mind
On a day when I'm alone, No TV, no telephone, I take a trip within my mind; To see what treasures I might find. Will I have things of value there, Or will the coffers all be bare? Will I find scenes of days gone by, That make me laugh and make me cry? Will I see love that makes me smile, And warms my heart just for a while? Will I find ways to end all strife, To give mankind a better life? The memories are always there, While I am rocking in my chair. I take a trip within my mind; To see what treasures I might find. On a day when I'm alone, No TV, no telephone.
