Hello! Angel and I wrote about our favorite movies in the last Flair For Writing Newsletter. I remembered some that I had left out. So, here are some more of my favorites. I hope they are some of yours!
1. Practical Magic: Starring Sandra Bullock and Nichole Kidman. These are two witches living with their aunts{who are also witches} and raising Sandra's children. Their ancestor witch of years ago put a curse on the future women witches of the family that they would never find true love. The ancestor was duped by a man and left pregnant to raise her child alone. Sandra's husband died in a accident and her sister run away but met a man who beat her up and she comes home to live with her family but they accidently kill the abusive boyfriend. Nicole's character wants to bring him back to life. They do but he takes over Nicole's soul. The women in town help the witches vanquish the man and a policeman {played by Aidian Quinn} falls in love with Sandra's character and learns about witchcraft from the good aspects and falls in love with Sandra's character. It is cute at the end when the witches and Sandra's children float off the house all dressed up like witches wearing red and white socks{like the witch in Wizard Of Oz} and Sandra's character hugs and kisses the policeman. The curse has been removed by the deceased witch ancestor. Faith Hill's THIS KISS song was so cute when Sandra's character hugged and kissed her husband before they married. This is a cute movie with the good witches. 2. The Wizard Of Oz: Starring Judy Garland. Everyone loves this movie. Dorothy singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow hugging Toto. You know you love the scarecrow, tinman, cowardly lion and the witch! A classic forever! 3. Lord Of The Rings: I love this movie. The hobbitts, the elfkins, the knight and everyone who helped Foto, the Hobbitt return the ring. Good special effects and great fantasy here. The only complaint I have is that the romance betwen the knight and the elfkin woman was never explained. Nine hours of this movie and I wanted to know more about the romance of these two! A good movie none the less. 4. Meet The Fockers: Starring: Barabara Streistand, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Stiller and Robert Deniro. God comedy here. I just love Barbara and Dustin. They are so funny! I couldn't stop laughing! 5. Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. You have an evil Princess, talking animals, a lion that you just love, a neat old mansion and a wardrobe closet that leads into a fantasy world. Good plot and a religious message here. Good wins over evil everytime. Santa also makes an appearance. Four children{two of them are teens} and the lion and oh yes!, the beavers are the heros here. Great movie for children and adults alike. 6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Starring Johnny Depp! Good comedy and fantasy. Chocolate and Johnny Depp fans will love this! Charlie is such a cute kid and the nicest one of the four who Willie gives his chocolate factory to. Johnny can play any character and make you love him! Alright, everyone. I forgot these movies in the newsletter last month. I hope you like these movies, too. Love: Megan ![]() ![]() ![]() ** #1127823 Not An Image ** ![]()
