Fear of Heights
This is a poem for all those out there who are afraid of being in love!

Taking this relationship higher than ever before
So high up I can’t see the ground
Or even see the people or hear a sound
Way up above where the eagle love to soar

I’ve never been this high before because I have never been in love
It’s as beautiful up here as a red rose bud
But I was afraid of falling down with a thud
And watch others fly over the rainbow up above

Fear of falling was what kept me on the ground
Fear of falling was ruining my life
I have proudly removed the fear with a knife
So I can keep and nourish this love I have found

And now that I am flying as high as I can be
I can safely say I am in love
Flying around like a shiny white dove
Knowing that I love him and he loves me
