How a boy can fall in love, no ! how any one can fall in love .... i mean its like "i dont know " .... this is a basic thinking of a boy who has recently been thrown out or i say disqualified by the girl he use to love.
May i ask you a question " does factors like age ,caste, economic backgrounds matter in love"? You must be having your own opinions about it but let me tell you the correct answer.As i said every one will have his/her own opinions like, dudes and dudesses from the youth will say "no! HAH ofcourse it does not matter", atleast a majority of them will say that and vice cersa by the majority of elder people ,i may say "PARENTS","ofcourse ,these all factors matter a lot since they have to spend their life together thus a no. of overall factors are responsible for a stable life because pairing of a couple also means merging of two different families with almost unknown backgrounds and blending of relationships and so necessary to take all these factors into considerations for least contradictions", they will say.

This short story may help you a bit in judging your decision. A father to son,"let me tell you a story son, there was a king and had many wives as he was a king and no one could protest against his decision. one day while a regular check in the market he saw a girl. she was extreemly beautifull but a sweeper who use to clean everyones toilet. The king said to his vazir,"i want to marry that girl", "no my lord, she does not deserve to be included in the royal family",vazir said. But who could have explained 'THE KING', "the king knows more and not a single word after this",king said.He married the sweeper and the royal dinner that night, the whole city was invited. The palace was looking as beautiful as Agraba from the Arabian Nights. An approximately 750m long dining table was set for the people and as far as you could see starting from the palace extended till the end of the main street of the grand city tonight. The king said,"come my sweetheart lets have dinner","unnnn no! ,if you please just excuse me then i will just be back" said the new queen urf sweeper with an hesitating tone and went off to her kaksh and closed the door along with her dinner plate.15 min later.... the queen came back ,"are you fine my cherry of a pineapple icecream" said the king with love,"yeah, am fine just wanted to have ,nothing! am fine lets go"said the sweeper with a dwindling tone and leaving king's mind in a chaotic phase.This was not the only time she did it like that, everynight with some out of the world excuse she use to leave at dinner with her plate inside and come back after the dinner gets over.The king was now bidazzled wanted to know terribly that what is the mystery behind those walls."Before i reach a schizophrenic state i want you to resolve the bizzare mystery as soon as possible",said the king to vazir as an order "yes my lord",said the vazir. The vazir was quiet clever as vazirs are always suppose to be clever.He constructed a hole by his men in the queen's kaksh at an angle that it was hard to find out from inside.He saw everything and the mystery was solved."I told you previously my lord thst she does not deserveto be a part of the royal family but you didnt listen to me"said the vazir,"oh ! vazir tell me fast before i die"said the king,"ok my lord".The vazir told the king that every night she use to take her dinner inside her kaksh where there were light lamps at each corner of the big polygon shaped room with large curtains all around and a bed in the center.She at first use to blend all her food items together in a scrumbled form and divide it according to the no. of lamps .Then she use to put the divided parts at the end of those lamps at the corners which were inverted disc shaped ,long and use to throw red color all around.As she was a sweeper since birth so she had her own way of life for which she was use to it, so she use to sit in front of each lamp one by one and then beg food into her plate to eat, thus considering those lamps as individual houses. She was not able to digert her food without being in the same medium amd enviornment and the longest burp ever in the end."

So a father may have such kind of views. He is thus right in his place and thats why he consider all these factors important to settle up a relationship.
A teen may have different opinion because he/she is been going through several endocrinal changes, so they are not enough matured to take such intelligent decisions which their parents expect them to take so. These endocrinal changes forces the young crowd to not to think beyond sex from deep down inside and still not let them realize that the changes they feel and think as love are nothing but a set of endocrinal changes and sex. They have a hardcore belife in their own view points and fullpercent sure that they feel love resulting in love marriages against your own family. Its natural.

A boy 11 yr old can fall in love with an 18 yr old girl or vice cersa or a boy 18 yr old with an 11 yr old girl. It shocks you !! no, belive it or not but it happens and it may not be exposed due to age differences but i have seen it happening.

The conclusion is factors like age, caste, family does not matter until and unless the deep down morals of the two persons does not vary and this decision is better to be taken by elders because they only can judge that wether the overall frequencies matches or not because the young couple may find them made for each other in all point of views but lacks experiences. I do not say that the elders areb always right but a cumulative decision is important.
