Final Embrace
Lost loves, how I wish it would have lasted. A little fantasy mixed in here.

Kiss me before this moment ends,
and never leave me again,
though this time you'll go
forever more.

Caress my skin with your fingertips,
and don't pull away,
though as soon as the moon comes
you'll disappear into the night.

Sing me to sleep with your angelic voice,
and never escape my dreams,
though I know the moon will take you
when it rises.

Hold me as close as possible,
and make it so you are the only one,
though we might find others some day
when the sun comes.

Love me as if we won't fade,
and tell me it will last,
though soon this will become
a mere memory in a lost mind.

Take me away into a fictional world,
and tell me of a utopian island.
though even if you come back
I'll be forgotten.
