The wind whispers my name and I feel inner peace,
As I saunter aimlessly down the street
A slight breeze toys with my hair with imaginary fingers,
And I pray that the magical spell lingers

The wind whispers my name, urges me to go on
Lightning flashes overhead, yet I’m not afraid of the storm
Raindrops fall and a fire is ignited within,
To replace the weakness I had hoped would end

The wind whispers my name, seemingly calls out to me,
To follow my heart and to capture my dream
Booming thunder is heard as the storm rages on,
Its sound to me like a melodious song

The wind whispers to me, and I follow a trail,
Where goodness is found and evil dispelled
My wandering feet search for what was meant to be
The storm ends, but still the wind whispers to me
