You Fell From The Sky

It hit me like a line drive
Fast and out of the blue
A bond between the two of us
Bringing me forever closer to you

At first a chance encounter
Forming a permanent mark at my door
Then each visit then ever after
Leaving me always wanting more

Recognition of soul-mate connection
This link I share with you
Denial no longer an option
I see it in your eyes too

You fell from the sky to be with me
Your two angels guiding your way
Now together we move in unity
Joining forces to brighten the day

*Note1*This is a personal piece written at the bequest of my sister for who new beau. This poem has several lines that will make sense only to the two of them.

*Exclaim* We met while playing softball/ Something we continue to do/ We have become friends over time/ Friendship was just the beginning

The first time we met it was a chance encounter/ I remember it like yesterday/ Then through work we were brought together again/ Now I can't get enough of seeing you

Could it be soul-mate recognition/ This connection between us is strongWe can't fight these feelings any longer/ I see it in your eyes too

Your purpose in life now clear/ Guided by two angels who have passed before you/ Moving in together / Uniting this family as one.

(Best translation I can offer without too many details)
